Bachelorette chow: Apple pastry empanadas

For the past few years, I've been focusing on honing my cooking skills, without really paying too much attention to desserts. I had simply resolved to always buy my desserts...until now.

A few days ago I had the idea to try out some kind of apple pastry, since the weather calls for it and so...I did. And it turned out really well, here are some pictures detailing how to go about it:






They're very simple to make, one can purchase the puff pastry at any grocery store. For the filling I used cream butter, rough brown sugar and cinnamon (all to taste). Needless to say the filling needs to be cooled off first, before using it. The pastries can be eaten slightly warm and with ice cream if one so wishes!
